What happens during a couple’s romance spa package?
After booking an appointment with us in advance and arriving at the location with your partner, you will both be greeted by the front desk, who may ask for your name so that you can be checked in. The check-in process typically takes only a few seconds! The receptionist will ask if you’d like to use the bathroom and lead you there if so. If you’re early for the appointment, they will guide you to the Serenity Room, where you can sit down and relax with your partner. You will both be provided with complimentary Champagne or mimosa, or sparkling cider, juice, or tea if you’d prefer any of those options. We also have lemon or cucumber water readily available and at your access. Relax and listen to the calming sounds of running water, birds, waves crashing, and spa music, or use this time to chat with your partner. We offer free Wi-Fi as well, so keep an eye out for our signs or feel free to ask the front desk if that is something you’d be interested in using.
When your technicians are ready to start the couples massage, you will both be led to a treatment room with two massage tables. The massage therapists will leave the room for a few minutes to give you and your partner time to undress, lay on the massage tables, and cover your bodies with the sheets provided. They will let you know when they are coming back into the room, and when you’re all set, the massages will begin at the same time. A couples massage is a massage coordinated between two therapists, so you and your partner will get the same treatment and the same time. If either you have any concerns before or during the massage, it is best to let your massage therapists know immediately so that they can address any issues and make sure that you feel as comfortable as possible during the experience.
After the couples massage, the therapists will once again leave the room to allow you both to get dressed. You are more than welcome to use the restroom at this time as well if you’d like to freshen up. If you have any additional services after the massage, such as a facial, you will both change into robes and slippers instead. The facial services will be performed in separate rooms since each room is limited by the equipment, but you will be able to see each other again after the treatment. When you are finished with your service(s), you and your partner can head back to the Serenity Room again, where you’ll both relax with another glass of Champagne or mimosa and enjoy chocolates. The entire experience is centered around you and your special someone, so take advantage of this time to bond together!
As you’re getting ready to leave and stopping by the front desk again to check out, our receptionist will provide you with a rose and a spa gift bag so you can both take home something to remember your experience by.
