As our Marketing and Social Media Intern you will be responsible for marketing and social media efforts for our Manhattan Day Spa. You’ll have the opportunity to work on different projects ranging from content creation to marketing analysis and research. You’ll also work hand-in-hand to help create digital marketing campaigns, receive feedback and participate in open discussions about different projects. If you love to challenge yourself and create your own “Mona Lisa” moment then this position is perfect for you. This internship will provide you with great learning opportunities, a dynamic environment and a high level of responsibility.

1. How would you improve our Birthday Escape page (link below)? This page is a profit center for us - we welcome between 2-8 birthday clients each day from Google Ads, Google Search, and referrals. Your goal is to make this page more appealing to potential guests.
2. Videos are everywhere these days and are a great marketing tool. Please write a script for a 75 to 90-second introduction video that is EMOTIONALLY compelling . Feel free to watch the video linked below for inspiration:
3. Content marketing can be extraordinarily successful, and the following two examples prove it. A blender company increased their business by 1000% by creating funny blender content videos on YouTube. A Thai insurance Company gained thousands of new accounts by creating “compassion and kindness” videos. Think of one way you can use content marketing to positively impact our company.
4. What three marketing ideas would you implement during your internship that would materially impact the spa positively? Here are some examples:
Offer a freebie to customers who share photos of their spa visit on social media using specific hashtags
Provide skin care and self care guides on our website that customers can download for FREE
Offer a free service (such as an eyebrow wax) every time someone buys a spa gift card on the website
Do an after-hours event for “friends of friends”. It could be a wine tasting or skincare talk for existing guests who will bring their friends with them to the event.
