Spa Etiquette
-
A guest care specialist will coordinate a spa experience specifically for your needs, and appointments can be made either in-person or via phone or online.
-
You may request a massage therapist of a specific gender while booking an appointment. All spa employees are trained to respect the privacy of our guests and to create a comfortable, relaxing environment for all.
-
We ask that all cell phones and electronic devices be turned off or silenced before entering the spa.
-
Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in the spa unless they are receiving a spa treatment and accompanied by an adult. Children between 15-17 may receive services on their own, however the therapists and techs giving the service will be female only.
-
Shaving is not recommended before a body treatment or facial. If you choose to shave, please shave at least four hours prior to your service.
-
In order to guarantee the effectiveness of your spa treatment, we recommend that you drink plenty of water before and after your treatment.
-
Please notify our staff before booking treatments if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure, any physical ailments, or disabilities. This will prepare our staff far in advance to provide the best possible spa treatment or therapy for you. When receiving your treatment, the technician will address your needs based on your personal assessment. They will speak to you about the temperature, pressure, product, and sequence of services they are providing. You may also communicate to us how you are feeling during your service, and if there is anything specific you would like us to address, please inform the technician.
-
ZZ DAY SPA does not uphold any dress code, and the treatment rooms are clothing optional environments. It is recommended during a body treatment or massage that those treatments are enjoyed without clothing, although undergarments may be worn if preferred. Professional draping is performed throughout the duration of the service for privacy. We request that all guests take a shower prior to arrival. We will provide robes and slippers for your convenience.
-
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Arriving late will possibly interfere with your treatment, making it not as effective or therapeutic for you. All appointments will end at their scheduled time so that the next guest will not be delayed. Treatment times are not extended based on late arrivals.
-
Guests must call at least 24 hours prior to their appointment to cancel or reschedule. Same day appointments CANNOT be cancelled, rescheduled, or refunded. If you’re late for your appointment, every effort would be made to give you your full time. However, if we cannot accommodate you for any reason, you will only receive the time remaining. Late appointments cannot be cancelled, rescheduled, or refunded. For all GIFT CARDS purchased online over $250, guest must have credit card and ID present at the time of check in or submit a copy of the same to receive service. If a guest cannot produce it, they may make payment separately and the original gift card purchase will be refunded. We apologize for any inconvenience.
