Microblading Explained
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a technique where fine lines are scratched into the surface of the skin, and pigment embedded. The strokes accurately replicate hair (as in a brow or hairline). Results can last from six to 18 months, depending on a variety of factors such as color of pigment, skin type, and lifestyle.
WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP?
Permanent makeup are treatments that replicate perfectly applied conventional makeup, most frequently on the brows, lash line, lips, and hairline. This is done by inserting cosmetic pigments into the dermis layer of the skin. Also known as Microblading, Micro-Pigmentation, Brow Embroidery, and Cosmetic Tattooing.
HOW LONG DOES THE RESULT LAST?
For brows, up to 18 months. For lips, one to two years. For eyeliner, three to five years. Hair color, skin type, after-care, and lifestyle also affect longevity of the results. Occasional touch-ups are a way to refresh the results. Done correctly, the treatments do not change color and fade naturally away with time. For areas such as brows, this allows future flexibility with shape, as standards of beauty change. Please note even if not visible to the eye, there will always be vestigial pigment permanently embedded in the skin.

Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BETWEEN BROW RESURRECTION AND MICROBLADING?
Brow Resurrection is a form of semi-permanent eyebrow embroidery, or also known as microblading. Unique only to Browhaus, Brow Resurrection uses an advanced brow embroidery technique.
HOW DOES BROW RESURRECTION WORK?
During treatment, strand-like designs which mimic real hair will be scratched lightly into the epidermis layer of the skin. We use pure vegetable dye customised to the right colour of your hair and skin tone to give the “hair strands” the perfect shade. This results in long-lasting, natural looking brows with a finer finish as compared to other semi-permanent brow treatments, that simply weave in parallel hair strands.
WHAT TOOLS ARE USED DURING THE TREATMENT?
We use the best tools in the trade, which include our finest multi-pins to craft out intricate life-like brow strands.
IS BROW RESURRECTION SAFE?
Yes, our treatment is safe. We never reuse multi-pins! Each pin comes individually sealed, sterilised and are disposed of after the treatment.
HOW PAINLESS IS BROW RESURRECTION?
We go that extra mile to ensure a comfortable experience from start to finish. To minimise discomfort, our therapist will apply a superior numbing cream to the treatment area. 9 out of 10 customers say that they don’t experience any discomfort. For those who do, the discomfort is #NoBigDeal and likened to eyebrow tweezing.
HOW LONG IS THE TREATMENT DURATION?
Each type of treatment has its own duration. The entire procedure takes 90 minutes for Brow Resurrection Classic, Soft or Full, and 120 minutes for Brow Resurrection Ombre to complete. All of them consist of both consultation and the treatment itself.
HOW LONG CAN BROW RESURRECTION LAST?
Brow Resurrection Classic and Soft can last up to 12 months. Brow Resurrection Full and Ombre can last up to 18 months*.
With proper post-treatment TLC and diligent usage of our after-care products (Build & Fix), Brow Resurrection can be long-lasting. Customers who have done Brow Resurrection are advised to return for a touch-up within 3 months from the treatment.
*Soft, Full and Ombre require more than 1 touch-up session.
ARE THERE ANY AFTER EFFECTS?
Treatment effects vary with every individual. For post-treatment, there might be slight swelling and tenderness on the treated area. Don’t immediately freak out if you think the colour of your brows are too dark after the treatment – the colour is meant to fade over the next 6 to 10 days, leaving you with the desired shade that you initially agreed on with your therapist.
CAN I HAVE AN OLD/POOR TATTOO BROW REWORKED OR COVERED UP?
About 90% of such cases have been successfully reworked. However, expectations must be managed as the results will not be comparable to newly treated brows. The results are also dependent on factors, such as the colour and thickness of your brow tattoo and when your brows were last tattooed. In some cases, we recommend a laser removal of your brow tattoo before having Brow Resurrection done, so as to achieve the best results possible.
